ANYWAY, I recall a commercial for it where one kid had gotten Sting and Co. on his cup, and he turns around and yells "FREEZE! It's the POLICE!"
I of course had to have one. Guess what band I got?
DIO. I swear.

When I was 11 I found a $10 bill on the floor at 7-11 and tried to turn it in. The guy working the counter told me to keep it. I bought WEST COAST AVENGERS ANNUAL #2 with it, I think.

That was a little circular thing that came on the bottom of the Slurpee if i recall correctly. I think it was in 3D too! Or it had two images that you would see if you moved it.
I found this with a Google search:

not as rad as Marshall Tucker Band Slurpee cups, but
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/11/05/7-eleven-wine-coming-soon_n_347174.html
though it's a major bummer to realize that the bottle design will probably not be generic 7-11 logo with "WINE" written underneath.

anybody remember chu-bops?
http://www.chu-bops.com/
A bit about Amurol Products Company, located in Illinois. They introduced Chu-Bops in the early 80's. These were mini albums with a piece of bubble gum shapped like an album inside. Each came with lyrics to a hit song.

Yep, we sold Chu-Bops at the mall music store I worked at. Still have sealed "Autoamerican" ones in my Blondie ephemera collection.

oh man i was OBSESSED with the baseball coins in slurpee cups. i perfected this method of tapping them all to see which coin was in which cup without actually removing anything
