live! in los angeles! tonight! i just got home from his spaceland show. billy read poetry for about thirty minutes--which was rather riveting--and then played some lo-fi blues for about an hour. one of the best shows i've been to in awhile. the crowd was really into it (including one over-excited fan who climbed onstage during a song and inexplicably began throwing hand shapes around an unused mic). i didn't know what to expect, actually, but i had a blast. i think he's got a few more dates in the U.S. before he splits; i highly recommend catching him.

I thought this was about billy corgan being childish when i saw that it was a poetry reading. I was really surprised how positive gear was about it.

I was thinking about going, but what I really want to see is the Buff Medways (who apparently is Billy and Graham Day from the Solarflares/Prisoners)
