Music made from computer game sounds

I am looking for artists, preferably DJs/live performers, that make their music from computer game sounds.

There have been quite a few artists that sample old computer game samples, but wondered if there are any that almost exclusively use gaming sounds? It could be really interesting in a live performance in the way they are controlled/programmed too.

Any ideas? If they were London based that would be cool too.

Not computer games, but Wim Mertens made his first album (called "For Amusement Only" , I think) using the sound-producing parts of pinball machines.

If Lou Reed were a French gal and the rest of VU were Megaman, "Stephanie Says" would sound precisely like...

When I saw Ceephax live, Squarepusher's brother, he finished his set with a load of Commodore 64 tunes. It cleared the dancefloor but I was loving it. He's got a link to loads of C64 tunes from his website which, in itself, is worth checking out.

you may want to look into the mod tracker scene, particularly the chip music stuff. I used a lot of chip music sounds on Succotash Wish which if you are interested in is here

Why no love for http://micromusic.net? My recommendation: Check out Casioheart's most cutetest "My 8-bit love" and Mr. Osbyte's catchy 8-bit stadium hymn "We've got the time"!

"We're a Dallas based band that makes shoegazy pop music and video using obsolete 70'd and 80's computer and videogame gear, accompanied by female vocals. The code to drive the music and video is our own, and it's all dirty assembly language."

Not as gimmicky as you'd expect. I think they use old Commodore 64s, which actually could make great sounds. Elektron paid homage to the C64 with the almighty and strange Sidstation synth.

I can't say enough good things about David Sugar, who's one of the members:
