Marc Moulin/Placebo (the Belgian jazz fusion group, not the rock band)

Anyone familiar with these guys? They played some track on FMU yesterday that I really liked -- kind of CTI-ish. Amazon lists some import comp (Placebo Years 1971-1974) coming out in June. Moulin also seems to have a few recent discs.

The only Moulin/Placebo thing I have is the comp you mention, originally released a few years back. Temse and Stomp are the two that come to mind immediately -- not unlike the freaky end of CTI, yeah. I've been meaning to get more.

He was also in Telex.

Telex have an '06 CD, apparently. There is a Placebo CD, definitely. The Blue Note title under Moulin's name is "just jazz".
