As far as I can gather every New Order and RHCP song ever will have at least one cringe worthy rhyme in it . How do we turn this into a fun way to get drunk

The best idea I’ve come up with so far is you have multiple CD’s of both artists – play a RHCP tune then a New Order tune…as soon as an awful line / couplet is noted everyone drinks . perhaps you could all take turns choosing the track – and if the bad line turns up in under a minute the person who chose the song drinks twice ???

Or…
2 people – one chooses a RHCP tune and the other chooses a N.O. tune – play both songs and the person who chose the band with the worst line drinks….not really enough drinking going on in this game though – perhaps to be played later in the night.

The RHCP couplet, and others vaguely rolling around in my head, inspire this: Put on any RHCP record, and everyone drinks when the lyrics suggest a physical impossibility. This requires listening to the RHCP, but you'll be drunk soon so you can probably handle it.

you'll need a computer for this one:

1. get connected to internet, go to All Music Guide website

2. YOU select a band/artist (any one will do) and go to their intro page

3. SOMEBODY ELSE selects another band/artist (preferably one that is the polar opposite from the one YOU selected, in terms of genre, time period, nationality, etc.) No band/artist too obscure.

4. Using only the "similar artists" feature, YOU then see how many clicks it takes to get from one to the other, drinking once for every click it takes AFTER the second one (first two clicks are free)

5. If you can do it in 2 clicks or less, all others drink

We actually used to play a drinking game to the Police's "Roxanne" where one person or team had to drink whenever the word "Roxanne" was sung and the other(s) had to drink when "turn on the red light" was sung.

everybody picks an instrument to follow. when that instrument takes a solo, drink. this works esp well with jazz. note: if the solo goes on for 64 bars or more you have to shwill and grab another, this applies as the next 64 bars go by as well. first person to call "teasers" of other songs dropped by soloists makes everybody else drink.
