Music is a wonderful thing to listen to. Sometimes it can help you with the problems you have in life. What I mean by
that is that, it can help you relax your mind. It can also make you happy and forget all the problems you're dealing with at
the moment. The only thing you're doing is concentrating and enjoying the music. Well, as you may already know, there
are different types of music all over the world. Every type of music is very pleasing to listen to, but also has it's
background; meaning it's history and where it came from.

Can you point me in the directions of some good resources related to pre-Hispanic music from the Andean highlands?

check out the group Expresion (they're from Peru) and their album 'Qéros: The Last of the Incas', Tumi Music 1993.

but you could well begin with 'The Rough Guide to the Music of the Andes', Rough Guides 1996.
