Wow, I've heard none of these songs, and it's unmixed. Anyone heard it or know if it will be relesaed on vinyl. Also I read about this on the foufour blog.

it's pretty great, although I would say the overall quality drops a bit in places, but plenty of boogie for sure. hadn't really looked @ the tracklist, now i need to check if that mazerati is the prince-related one.. no idea on LP's..dustygroove carries it, though.

also, the Lowrell simon song is "love mAssage", and what a difference that A doth make

Pretty awesome, but I'm a sucker for this stuff. All I knew was Karen Young before listening.

Most jaw dropping moment was going up to Boogie expert/DJ Joseph Colbourne and saying "have you heard that new Negro Boogie comp" and have him respond, without arrogance, "Yeah! I was dissapointed that I had every track."

I also just got the three Disco Strut compilations, with that great Intrigue song "I Like It".
