"Curtis Live", obviously. "Shaft" is way too aimless and, well, "soundtrack-y" most of the time to really hold much interest.

Curtis Live is one of my favourite ever live albums - i only ever listen to Shaft for the title track nowadays.

now, Curtis Live vs Hot Buttered Soul would have been a tougher fight.

Curtis Live quite easily.

Curtis Live vs Jame Brown's Live at the Appolo vs Sam Cooke's Live at the Harlem Square Club would be a lot tougher, with Cooke shading it.

I love Curtis more than Isaac, but studio records more than live. And "soundtracky" is the mood I've been in lately, so at this moment I would pick "Shaft."

What about "Trouble Man" vs "Shaft"? Or "The Payback" (even though it never actually got used in the film it was intended for) or "Shaft"?
