Classic or Dud?

This being a project he's been working on/up since an illness. Without record company interferance, made a 11 CD concept 'album' story of the blues (as he sees it, I guess)

1) Kinda knocks '69 love songs' into a hat
2) I haven't heared any of it, and have no interest to.
3) Price has been pegged at £25 or thereabouts.

But, you can tell me if you like. Classic/Dud?

Have you heard the new Hermann Nitsch 51-CD box set? I think Scott Walker's certainly heard some of it apropos "meat punching" etc.

I guess when people talk about making very huge albums, I say "Go away, my spare time is too precious for your elongated tomfoolery!"

and they have to convince me different.

I'm guessing he's been digging the Loren Connors box. Go Chris!

"Go away, my spare time is too precious for your elongated tomfoolery!"

And you wonder why the gay porn career didn't work out.

I'm in the minority of punters who think that Chris Rea was super ace when he was ultra-commercial Radio 2 driving music and rather naff since he went back to his roots, though I appreciate his reasons (health and otherwise) for doing so.

Heah, he was the "not Chris De Burgh" and from Middlesbrough, without detraining the accent, so he's OK by me.

Laura called him "the John Nettles of pop" which I thought was pretty appropriate.
