Which is the better approach to remixing/production, the unique stamp which ignores the artists's general sound sensibilities (DJ Premier, Kanye, Dilla, even DFA) or meshing your style with the traditional sound of the artist recording atop the beat (DJ Shadow, Prince Paul, Large Pro)?
