Orange Book Part II: CD - R Volume 2: Multi SpeedThis standard defines linear recording speeds up to 16 times nominal CD speed. With Orange Book, Part II: CD-R, Volume 2: Multi-Speed, a.o. a new spot for test write conditions and the Media IDentification is introduced.
In order to synchronise Orange Book, Part III: CD-RW, Volume 2: High-Speed it is planned to publish an update of this Part III volume 2, with the MID code and a test spot similar to CD-R Multi-Speed, with the introduction of the Orange Book, Part II: CD-R, Volume 2: Multi-Speed version 1

I got some TDK discs from a friend, and have not coastered a single one since then (50 or 60+ discs), and the burning time has decreased dramatically.
