Hiya - i'm new eh. so i dunno if someone's posted about this already.

Who's heard it? It's called 'the empire strikes back' and it's absolutely amazing - as good as 'satan is real again' and that's saying something. Ben Wallers looks like he'll NEVER get old and boring, he's as vicious as ever!

Who's with me?

This record hasn't really sunk in yet. The vers of "Your English" and "Hitlers & Churchills" on the last Rebel album were more Country Teasers-y sounding then the ones on "Empire". There is something sort of...missing from this record it feels like. "White Patches" and "Spiderbite In The Flesh" are incredible though. Going to Iowa City on Saturday to see them

'white patches' is the standout for me, and 'points of view' too - perfect nihilism - i thought ben was starting to get a little too soft on 'full moon...' or starting to mellow out but this proves that possibility totally wrong.

saw him do his rebel thing a few weeks ago in scotland - freaking out little 14 year old kids in aberdeen, lovely

so after seeing them this wknd, I am really loving the new record. They were great live as well, go see them. Buy the records, ban music, boycott the studio & c.

andrew is a NOT a steeet-teamer. hi, andrew.

"vicious" is a good word for this record, i think. i'm enjoying, but it's been small doses so far.
