"Sex Mad War" vs "Dirty Movies"

'Why Can't This Be Love?' was a pretty good song to play pinball to.
'Cut The Crap' I never even heard in its day but it sounds like Joe trying to make a Three John's album with only a week to figure out how. I hear a little of Somethin' Else in We Are The Clash. I think the album can be enjoyed as sort of a more poorly conceived Great Rock N Roll Swindle if you don't hold it to the standard of a real Clash album. So if it was billed as JOE STRUMMER & THE 80s STUDIO HACKS: Eponymous Solo Debut would it have been as abominated? I think the true believers would have cried anyway.

"This is England" is fantastic, one of the Clash's best singles. Same goes for Van Halen's "Why Can't This Be Love."

"Dirty Movies" wasn't on 5150, it was on the unimpeachable Fair Warning.

no, it was on 'megatop phoenix'. you're thinking of "e=mc(2)"

No, I'm not. I'm thinking of "Dirty Movies." Attempt to get your facts right, David.

trust me, the 'dirty movies' in question are 'performance', 'man who fell to earth' and 'walkabout'. tits, bush, everything!
