I think the name of the song is Save Me. the first line of the chorus goes something like: Save me, I don't care how you do it just save me, .... Sorry this is so vague, does anyone know the name of the band ?

No, but thank you. I should be more specific. It's a male singer, fairly sure it's a British band. I don't know if the song is even domestically available in the US. Could the band be Embrace? I see that they have a song titled "Save Me", but no sound clips. The thing that strikes me about the chorus is that the drummer consistently hits the snare on all four downbeats of the measure, while the other musicians seem to be playing in a different time signature, so that every other measure or so, the drummer is hitting on the upbeats. I am not exactly sure about this though, since I've only heard the song twice (On a station that just happens to think it's so "ungodly hip and underground" not to tell the listener what the hell they are actually listening to).

Our pal Google sez: Remy Zero. Song title is, oddly enough, "Save Me". Full lyrics here

Thanks, Sean. Remy Zero? I recognize that name.I used to play with a band that covered their song Prophecy. I remember that I didn't like their album at the time. I will check out their latest, though. Thanks again.

It's off the Golden Hum. It's a pretty good song, but I'm not sure about the rest of the album- it didn't really do much for me.
