Splendid seems to be doing just that. No gossip, though.

My local rag also sent their Rock Critic to check out the festivities - I believe his scribblings are located @ CTNow.Com. I only post this link in case you're looking for some subpar uninteresting writing about boring local-centric BS. You know, if the Nyquil isn't working.

is sxsw less of a big deal than it used to be? I remember when it seemed to get a lot more coverage - or maybe I just have to wait for the next monthly mags to come out to see who the next big thangs will be.

Music is absolutely cooked. I kinda believe it.

I mean, obviously nothing will kill your local punk scene or whatever, but music is not going to be an avenue to even scraping together enough to live at some point. And that sucks. Most of my favorite musicians over the past 30 years were at least scraping together enough to live.
