Would anyone happen to know anything about Hisham Bharoocha's band Among Natives. I saw them play Downtown for Democracy almost 2 years ago and was blown away, but never heard anything afterwards. I googled them every once in a while, but never got more than references to the D4D show I went to, or the occasional blog post that mentioned them in passing. An ILM search just lets me know that the other two members were Avey Tare's sister and Doug Shaw of White Magic.
So, are they still around? Did they record anything? Did they play any other shows than the D4D show? Are their any recordings of their shows floating around?
