Who can tell me the name of the CD released about five years ago, of Kraftwerk covers all performed on traditional Japanese instruments?

I know there was a Kraftwerk tribute album with Japanese bands like Buffalo Daughter but I had absolutely no idea about the tribute album you mentioned until now.

Are you thining of the Senor Coconut album? The one that does Kraftwerk covers in a latin samba style? Perhaps confusing it with the new Senor Coconut album, which does the same thing with Yellow Magic Orchestra tunes? Could that be what you are talking about?

Thanks, but I don’t think so, it was traditional Japanese instruments, eg the koto http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koto_%28musical_instrument%29 Bamboo Flutes, etc

I never heard it, but recall the review in a local paper, I kinda wished I looked for it at the time

there was an album called "Musique Non Stop" with japanese bands covering kraftwerk, i think only one of them used traditional instruments, and someone posted it here ages ago on one of the ysi threads - anyway heres the tracklisting via google
