Songs with lyrics that differ between the written/published and sung versions

The two that spring to mind are the Smiths' Vicar in a Tutu: ...cover the head of a child becomes ...cover the head of a Goose, and A Hard Day's Night: So Why I love to come home becomes So why on earth should I moan.

Apologies if this is a boring topic ... that Beatles one has bugged me since I was kid.

There are a couple of differences 'tween the lyrics sheet and the vocals on Paul's Boutique.

The Wall's lyrics are totally different than the ones published in some songs.

The printed lyrics for "Boys From The County Hell" by the Pogues finds the sung line "My brother earned his medals at My Lai in Viet Nam" printed as "My brother earned his medals killing gooks in Viet Nam."

I personally find the latter much more charming.
