Creative triumph of melody and harmony or overproduced pompous single from a band that should know better?

This song was conveniently tucked in the pocket of my unremembered memories for many years until the idea of it popped out of my head this week for no reason at all, then I decided I had to hear it again.
I think it's still a fun track, and did so at the time it came out. Infact, I believe it's the only Yes record I ever bought.
So why does Owner Of A Lonely Heart get all the credit?
