Young People... awful?

i saw danielson last friday and they were fantastic. however, my roomate was really into the second supporting act, "young people" and i thought their set was about as enjoyable as an abortion. if anyone on here went... what did you think of them?

I thought this was a ILE thread that had gone a-wanderin' it turns out 'young people' are a band. I look forward to hearing them.

I love all three of their albums! The singer Katie also made an experimental dance DVD on Kill rock stars whicih I really should watch someday...

oh he used to be in young people? i had no idea.

i've always liked what i've heard from young people but i never seem to listen to them much. and i still gotta hear their "where the streets have no name" cover.

So I found Five Sunsets in Four Days and All at Once via clearance and gave 'em a whirl not knowing anything about them. Not bad. Not the end of the world.

I thought about reviving this thread myself a few months ago because I totally came around on Young People. Very nice album and ep last year, indeed. Still don't much care for that previous stuff, though.
