last day of june will spell th death blow to john doe records and books at 518 warren st in hudson ny..so mention yur an ilxor and get a big discount..Landlord dont cotton to no hippies and eviction has been meted out...am quite amazed we got away with it this long..If u have never been up here im on amtrak or 2 hrs north of nyc by car ..call me if u wanna wax attack..518 632 4273..i did it for 4 yrs almost with only th break for th bnhart tour last fall..So maybe i need to get out more?..shoppers:mark ibold,martha stewart,natalie merchant,richard prince,chan marshall,mercury rev,etc ..live shows:jackie o mf,tara jane o neil,micheal hurley,sunburned hand...tons of fun was had...xxxxdan

I have no specific plans..new bb record out aug 8 so maybe we actually play sum shows?Start a flea market downtown perhaps,Call in th code officer to stick it to th landlord,umm..Squat in a pirate style shop down the street..I dunno..I just am trying to be positive and not overwhelm my fragile brain w th majorutiae of moving stuff around..I have no great american novel i want to write..Maybe visit my brother in th high season..Spend more time w my daughter..all good things in th long run..Shoppe owners are pasty for a reason.
