no, it's actually him miming, when he was studying it in the 60's. he doesn't appear to be pretending to be five, since he mentions going to the pub. he's maybe 17 in it. he's sporting one of his usual disturbing crotch bulges as well.

I believe Bowie only got into the music biz in order to save up and buy the world's most expensive and whitest set of bad dentures.

It took many decades of hard work and sacrifice, but -- bolstered by Tin Machine album sales -- his perseverance at last paid off, and now he is known as the pretiest mime the world has ever seen.

I read somewhere once that he said he always made sure he wrote a couple hits for an album so he could keep the record execs happy and experiment as much as he wanted on the other tracks.
