Having turned 31 yesterday i'm old enough to have bought the MBV stuff when it first came out and to have avoided Slowdive.

I think i originally bought 'the affectionate punch' on cassette bundled together with 'sulk' for about £2.99 in 1989 and exchanged it a few years later for some dodgy bmx bandits records.

I'm in a similar fix, but debating which of the Renascent rereleases to get--The Sound and Comsat Angels, but which titles? All I know of either is their Peel Sessions.
