Pretty sure these were from Upbeat, a syndicated show based in Cleveland. See fifth paragraph of this wikipedia article:

Whew! Pretty exciting, even outside the historical context. Bet a handful of young misfits over in Akron were taking notice of the Bar-Kays' yellow uniforms & deadpan manner.
