was just looking at ohhla.com and there's millions of jay z guest verses i've never heard...i assume some of them are fairly perfunctory but then again i can't think of many jay verses ive heard that aren't at least worth hearing (i even liked we dont resort to violence we on resorts and islands)

so which ones are worth hearing?

and obviously if anyone could upload any of them anywhere that'd be even better

there's loads of beans and bleek tracks for example, which are worth hearing?(and should i have got any of their albums?)

the full list is here

by the way

"Hell Yeah (Remix)" is an interesting idea (Jay-Z guesting on a Dead Prez tune!), and it's a nice tune, but I'm not sure if his verse adds anything to the original.

Young Jeezy - Go Crazy is a good 'un.

ok i just downloaded the remix of ha by juvenile with jay on it,its worth hearing

The "Ha" remix slays the original. His "verse" on the new Beyonce sucks.

... search the "Frontin" verse, short but classic.

Now that his beef with Nas is over, do you think he'll guest on Mr. Jones's new album?

1st and last Beanie Sigel albums are great. Middle one is ok but worth hearing.

My favorite:

You 'bout to witness the most intelligent ignorant shit
you gonna hear in the miserable life that you livin; I hope that you diggin it
I ain't no dif-fer-ent from any nigga livin in the hood
whose attitude is "I wish a nigga would"
Your fam might as well kiss you goodbye, they'll miss you for good
No more Mr. Nice Guy, listen to the hook
PUT IT IN THE AIR! Homey I'll put you in the air
Feel the fury of a feather trigger nigga if you near
The I gets sparked, Allah-u Akbar
can't even save you I will break you what you high on puff?
I kill niggaz with my own thoughts
Yeah I'm guilty as charged, nigga it's my own fault
Homey you walkin through hell with nylon socks, my nine pump cough
I'll make you wind up in the basement with DJ Satan
Your boy got the crown nigga, my replacement ain't been born yet
Y'all realize this ain't a song yet?

Oh c'mon, his verse on "Diamonds are Forever rmx" is fantastic. "I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man." "I sold kilos of coke, I'm guessin I can sell CDs".

mcd (mcd), Tuesday, 20 June 2006 18:30 (nineteen years ago)

that businessman/business, man line I heard before Jay's verse dropped... I think it was Messy Marv or someone.

deej.. (deej..), Tuesday, 20 June 2006 18:35 (nineteen years ago)

i have this white label single w/big l and jay going at it for a long time....his verse is nice, but honestly it can't beat big l on that track...can't remember the name of it for the life of me...

That newer Rick Ross one! "every day I'm hustlin", whatever the track is called.

"we don’t resort to violence, we own resorts and islands."

CDDB (Dan Deluca), Tuesday, 20 June 2006 19:39 (nineteen years ago)

I really like his verses on Missy's "Back in the Day", but I like goofy shout-out songs (see also David Banner's "Westside")

Ugh, where he rips Ricky Ross's shitty verse? "Who you haters think you talking to I'm the fucken boss?/White-on-white, G4, hater get lost."? Jeezy kills it on that one.

max (maxreax), Wednesday, 21 June 2006 05:01 (nineteen years ago)

I guess he's fairly weak on it in general...but really I just like the line "we don’t resort to violence, we own resorts and islands."
