This is about the Flamin' Groovies, so all you pedophiles get out.

Someone please tell me some albums that sound like this album! What about other Flamin' Groovies' albums? Do they sound the same? I love that mix of country, punk, and rock. The only things that I know of that would be a good alternative would be Exile on Main Street or Let It Bleed.

There's a band named Teenage Head after that song that might just be better than the Flaming Groovies. This is the one to get: http://www.google.com/musicl?lid=OPY7cwWiEkM&aid=LBNdipNr--K

new bomb turks sort of reminded me (for maybe their first couple LPs and some singles) of what a 90s version of the Groovies might sound like. Less bluesy, though.

Teenage Head, the band, were grand, too.

the Groovies other albums don't all sound like Teenage head. Flamingo does. Shake Some Action is more mid60s Beatles pop. There's a couple of Groovies compilations on Norton that have more of a Teenage Head like sound: California Born and Bred, and In Person.
