jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 17:02 (nineteen years ago)

this is the stupidest idea for a thread ever.

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 17:03 (nineteen years ago)

Just go to your collection and start from to back, left to right, whatever, and name the first ten as you find them.

Ah, I'm guessing we've been here before right?

dr lulu (dr lulu), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 17:09 (nineteen years ago)

That's the stuff I almost never listen to at the top left of the big cd rack. It's Elvis Presley, Al Green, Monkees, Nick Drake, Beach Boys. I'm not sure what the first 10 are, but probabably a bunch of Elvis and an Al Green.

John E. Smoke (Uri Frendimein), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 17:10 (nineteen years ago)

OK, since you insist:

Singles:

Rolf Harris: Pacific Panorama e.p.
Frank Sinatra: Come Fly with Me e.p.
Rezillos : I can't stand my baby
Beatles: All you need is love
Small Faces: The Universal
Vindaloo Summer Special: Rocking with Rita
Orange Juice: Blue Boy
Elastica: Stutter
Captain Beefheart: Yellow Brick Road

One hell of a jukebox, right?

mark grout (mark grout), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 17:14 (nineteen years ago)

That is impressive, yes.

cutty (mcutt), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 17:41 (nineteen years ago)

There is nothing more interesting than alphabetization reports.

DAVE, for #1 Hits of yesterday and today! (dave225.3), Tuesday, 27 June 2006 18:02 (nineteen years ago)

How do all you people survive without putting stuff in alphabetical order? I would go insane.

I would go insane if things were in alphabetical order because I forget half the stuff I own, but if it's in a specific section at least I know generally what I'm looking for when I walk over to find some music. If I had to rely on my memory of band names, I would either pick only what I could remember or get down there and go blind looking at the edge of every single cd I own.
