Matthew Perpetua! (Matthew Perpetua!), Wednesday, 28 June 2006 17:08 (nineteen years ago)

Eh, it really stings for me to cut out "Burn Don't Freeze," "Start Together," "Dig Me Out," "Little Babies," "Call The Doctor," "One More Hour," "Oh!," "I'm Not Waiting," "Good Things," and so many others!

Matthew Perpetua! (Matthew Perpetua!), Wednesday, 28 June 2006 17:10 (nineteen years ago)

Vornado (Vornado), Wednesday, 28 June 2006 17:37 (nineteen years ago)

A POXXX upon you, Vornado. That's cheating - what are your ten?

You're pretty close to the ILM hivemind in guessing what 'most' people like - 6/10 correct.

pleased to mitya (mitya), Wednesday, 28 June 2006 17:44 (nineteen years ago)

My POX =
My Hits list
minus "Get Up", "Oh!", "Jumpers", and "Entertain" (I've never understood what people see in "Oh!")
plus "One More Hour", "Size Of Our Love", "Oxygen", "Nightlight".

But that really stints on a lot of what people like about the band (punkiness, politics). If you are checking them out without a lot of prior exposure, start with the hits and then go hard/political or soft (or both) depending on what you like most.

Vornado (Vornado), Wednesday, 28 June 2006 19:20 (nineteen years ago)

Eh, I'm a popster - I usually don't listen to lyrics, just occasionally ascribing deep personal significance to this or that phrase as they catch me. (But thanks!)
