More of a Minimal/Tech-House tip, but my friends Noodlearm are doing room 2 at Kerfuffle on Friday (30th):

Comfy Sofa Room: -

This time we’re giving up the second room to a host of new talent namely: Mark Henning (Clever Music). Resident DJ at Clever Music parties, Mark has established himself as an accomplished player. He’s also released a clutch of cool tunes on Tanzen and Milnor Modern. This time he’ll be showing his Berlin and Cologne roots.

Marc Ashken (Safari Eletronique)
Fresh from his appearances at Bugged Out and Lather Rinse Repeat, Marc is a respected producer and underground party animal. Expect layered precision beats rife with electronic soul.

Benk & Plumsource (Noodlearm)
These Ipswich boys have been steadily moving south to collaborate with Mangled in Colchester and Asylum in Soho. With their unique blend of acid, electro and minimal techno less is definitely more.

And in Room 1:

Big Boom Room:-

Justin Drake (Peace Division)
Justin’s one half of production duo who have been busy redefining house music for the past ten years. Their label Low Pressings has turned out umpteen dance floor classics plus remixes for Moby, and Yothu Yindi. This is an increasingly rare chance to see a true innovator do the spacehopper.

Boltie & Chad Powerz (Cluedo?)
These guys have been building their names as up and coming producers for some time now. The recent launch party of their new mystery guest artist label Cluedo? saw them whipping up a frenzy alongside Pure Science.

Not forgetting your long serving residents: Liz Edwards & Rochester
