Y'know, the one previewed by Phil Ek at the end of There's Nothing Wrong With Love? 'Cause I'm sure it would've been better than Ancient Melodies Of The Future and that last one.

Just for fun, here are the songs by order of preference:

1) The punk song ("I feel so lost inside/where can I hide?")
2) "Kick You In The Head"
3) "My Midnight Star (I'm A Rambler)" (the country-tinged power ballad)
4) The bassy one with the uh-uh-uh-oh-oh

Sub-question: has there ever been a successful album where different styles are covered?

"Autoamerican" by Blondie sold a few units, and contains rock, reggae, rap, jazz and a showtune.

Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One

I was 17 when this album came out. At the time, I thought this "preview" was about the funniest thing ever, cuz baby you know that I'm a rebel! I used to say "Look for the record with me on the cover!" every 5 minutes or so. I even had a brief internal debate over whether or not the next BTS album would actually contain these bits before my rational side won out. In some alternate universe this album came to fruition and Ween called it a day.

a bunch of my friends (who all went to school in washington - one of whom had his first dance to a BTS song at his wedding a few months ago) just went to this concert last friday. they said they had a blast. i told them i wouldn't be accompanying them there as i hadn't listened to BTS in like 10 years and probably never would again. they called me a snob.

then one of their other friends was down from seattle and they told them this story and he mentioned how when i was in his car in seattle last year BTS was on the cd player and i asked "uh, is it sorta law that you have to listen to these guys if you live in washington?". they called me a snob again.

I'm a big Built to Spill fan but still have yet to hear There's Nothing Wrong With Love?. My favorite is still Perfect From Now On.
