St Etienne's Join Our Club - different lyrics

A friend just asked if there was ever a version of Join Our Club that had entirely different lyrics to the one we all know. I didn't know what he's talking about, but whilst listening to the original just now, it's like I can almost 'hear' other lyrics, without being able to remember what they are...

Now you mention it, I have a vague memory of something (just the corus) ... possibly in one of the little vignettes between songs on the first grestest hits vid, but I'm not sure.
