Gangway C/D

Reviving this thread as I just listened to the "Sitting In The Park" album and it is still brilliant!

I did a search and it seems I am still the only one who has ever referenced this excellent Danish 80s/90s act on ILM. Which is a shame because they should be right up the alley of the typical ILM'er. Think references such as Prefab Sprout, Saint Etienne, Scritti Politti, but most of all (particularly in the case of their 90s material) Pet Shop Boys.

It is said that during a Copenhagen visit, Neil Tennant visited a record store, and as the guy behind the counter noticed Tennant, he put on a Gangway CD. When Tennant left the store, he had bought the entire back catalogue by Gangway.

So, seriously, if you are into the acts I mentioned, I really, really recommend Gangway. You may do a Soulseek/DC/etc search for tracks such as "My Girl And Me", "Sitting In The Park", "The Party's Over", "I Come Back As a Dog", "Belgian Lovers" or "Steady Income". I am sure a lot of you guys will not regret!
