The Beatles Hotel, Classic or Dud? Or nonexistant?

I recall a quite entertaining documentary about some businessman bloke trying to build a Beatles themed hotel in Liverpool. It ended with him still struggling to complete it, inbetween swanning around the med in big boats and looking v.rich etcet. As per usual w/cheap repeated docs, there was no "catch-up".

So, liverpool people! How is it? or, How was it?

Jeez! How long has it taken?

Not that I'm exactly putting my name down for an introductory offer, I like the Beatles well enough but ...

This could be the biggest flop since the Gary Glitter Snackbar!

Perhaps if they'd spent less time faffing with the logo they could have a hotel by now. Reminds me of the Factory sheningans. "Before we can actually release a record we need to make sure we've got the right font for the posters..."

really want to post to this board but still can't for some reason.
There's a Strawberry Fields Hotel in Brighton where I live. A few years back my son Flynn suggested other possible songs that might lend their name to a hotel: the best being Hard Day's Night Hotel, and the immortal I Should Have Known Better Hotel
