Frankly, I was a little disappointed. It didn't have the atmosphere of Songs in the Attic or the KOHUEPT (Live in the U.S.S.R.) and seemed to be just a live "Greatest Hits". That said, whilst it lacked some of the atmosphere, the performances were fantastic...

Feel free to contradict me, send hate mail or agree. Insightful discussion or flaming here we come...

Can we comment on his 22-year-old girlfriend?

She's his wife and she was absolutely atrocious and without personality as the host of Top Chef - made Ben Stein look like Wink Martindale.

Billy is a legend. The 12 Gardens CD has a good tracklisting, some good live versions of album tracks like Laura and Room Of Our Own, and no Uptown Girl, thank Christ. Seems he delved into the obscurities a bit for the US Tour, but Europe seems to be getting a Greatest Hits set. Tch!

He's not looking quite as much like Roy Cohn these days.

Aye, the lack of Uptown Girl is a small mercy. I'm still gutted I didn't manage to get tickets to see him live this year, but I'm going for his "My Life" 4CD set of obscure/demo/whatever tracks in an effort to fritter away more money. I mean, urm... yeah.
