Syriana and Soderbergh's Solaris are both pretty swell, if you don't mind the electronic flourishes being the structural undercurrents with more typical incidental strings on top...

Walter Carlos' bits on A Clockwork Orange are very cool.
Andromeda Strain and The Anderson Tapes have amazing electronic incidental music, I would be impressed if you can track down a OST for these. I love the big fat synth bits in Apocalypse Now, and even some of T2 - the 'Arrival' in particular.

Brian Hodgson and Delia Derbyshire (both BBC Radiophonic Workshop bods, composed the Doctor Who theme) did the music for The Legend Of Hell House http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070294/ which was on bbc a couple of weeks ago. don't think there's a soundtrack cd but the dvd is cheap.

edward artemiev did the soundtrack for the real solaris and stalker, too, both excellent. think he also did mirror but i barely remember that one.

andromeda strain ost by gil melle has been reissued within the past few years by a japanese label, i think. originals came on 10" hexagonal-cut vinyl in a silver fold-out sleeve to match and are fucking beautiful. though the covers are generally prety beat.

original terminator soundtrack had some awesome moments.
