Trying to run soulseek on 2 computers at the same time

how's it goin, ilm?

i'm having trouble running soulseek on my desktop and laptop at the same time. here's the deal....my brother wants to download some stuff that i have on my pc to his lappy, but it's running really slow. anyone know how to fix it?...

assuming you're on the same network, having one machine upload while the other downloads is going to slow stuff down. with ysi or e-mai, at least you won't be doing both at once.

I got rid of Soulseek when I found it had absolutely nothing to do with any Christian missionary group. All I got was a bunch of mislabeled Coldplay songs :-(

There is something with Soulseek or any P2P things that make it really slow if you are trying to send files back and forth through the same connection. My friend Ryan explained to me once but I wasn't really paying much attention because I had that thing were my ass itched or something.
