Best / Worst Versions of "I Put A Spell On You"

Some noodlehead is playing CCR's Chronicle in the store and it-a gets me to thinkin' : what are the best and worst versions of this nugget ever put to wax?

I'm going right now with Hawkins first recording of the song and Nina Simone's for the former, and Hawkins' 80's rerecording with the rap and Marilyn Manson's for the latter. But I'm willing to admit there's a number of potentially dodgy versions I've not heard, such as Queen Latifah's on that horribly conceived standards album.

I loves me some Biggie & Preem, but I hate how Premo takes the lurching momentum out of the track. It feels too restrained, especially in contrast to the abandon of the source material.
