I saw them at the Worcester show a couple days after this one; it definitely captures the spirit + energy of the tour. Mix Master Mike is the secret weapon here - when he takes old Beastie classics, completely replaces the music, and rips out something as joyous as the originals (sometimes better), I gotta doff my hat.

What was unexpected was the poignancy, effective because it's not belabored or forced. DMC was in the crowd and one of the last shots is of him signing an audience member's "RIP Jam Master Jay" shirt - just another in a flurry of shots, it goes by without commentary, but affecting all the same.

Whatever you do, don't attempt to watch A Day In The Life of Nathaniel Hornblower - it's excrutiating. Jerome Crooks' Angry World is a hoot, though.
