Is it as hilarious as Adam Duritz's?

Tape Store (Tape Store), Thursday, 3 August 2006 18:52 (twenty years ago)

Apparently translated back into English from some other language: "let me make it so it is easier to understand."

Rickey Wright (Rrrickey), Thursday, 3 August 2006 21:08 (twenty years ago)

Not just that bit, of course.

my knoxville friends were entertained by his all-caps fuck-knoxville rant:

ITS OBVIOUS WHY BANDS STOP COMING THERE. CUFEW TIMES AND FUCKED UP STUDENTS WHO DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT PERSONAL SPACE MEANS. I PLAYED, THEY HOUSE HAD ITS RULES, WE LEFT.
SO DONT WORRY.
I WONT BOTHER NEXT TIME. SERIOUSLY. I WILL PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND WILL SLEEP LIKE A FUCKING BABY AS WE ROLL PAST YA.
ltr.

correct, but the fact that he is such a complete humorless tool about it gives it legs.

timmy tannin (pompous), Friday, 4 August 2006 02:09 (twenty years ago)

i mean, making fun of r. adams and what a douche he is, that's pretty stale, "low hanging fruit" and all that.

timmy tannin (pompous), Friday, 4 August 2006 02:14 (twenty years ago)

I heard "Firecracker" at the grocery store today, and it was pretty good, and it reminded me of when Ryan Adams was all hope and promise and hadn't yet released umpteen LPs, each of which offer one or two genuinely good songs but when taken collectively crush the soul like a ton of meh.

Teh shame...

Forget the umpteen albums (ok, not hard): Dude really needs to kick the jam band kool aid.

I like the one Whiskeytown album I've heard, Stranger's Almanac.
