two one-time masters of irony drop their guard when confronted with folks that they consider to be lazy losers, thereby revealing for all to see an inner heartless bitch that their prior works had only hinted at! with overbearing instrumental backing by the best technology that their great wealth could buy -- as if their overbearing blockbusting beats would REALLY drive the point home (if the callous lyrics weren't enough).

i vote for bjork, because the beats are better ... not to mention that during the clinton years if you were a loser then you really WERE a loser and deserved all the scorn you got (as opposed to jagger's distillation of the reagan/thatcher ethos that prevailed when "let's work" was recorded).

"Let's Work" is a brilliant parody of Norman Tebbit's famous "on your bike" speech. To ram home the point that it was a piss-take, Mick rolled out the children's choir (Tebbit famously feasted on the blood of pre-pubescent boys as he believed it would grant him the gift of eternal evil), and then danced around like a senile Tory cunt on Top of the Pops.

Tough. I'd listen to Mick's financial advice over Bjork's any day, so "Let's Work."

kiley dean's 'busy' should be included here as a third choice

Kasabian are apparently furious that the Rolling Stones are going to charge them £150 each to watch them in concert - even though the Leicester-born rockers will be playing as their support act.

He added: "It's probably Americans who are running it, not Jagger".

ah, the naivety, or stupidity, of youth.

The correct answer is of course "Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent" by Gwen Guthrie.
