I hate "SONG ID" threads but please help

OK, whenever I see 'song ID' threads, i wonder, doesn't this person know about Google? IDing a song is easy - just Google the lyrics you DO know, and Voila! - some lonely soul has posted the lyrics SOMEwhere.

But my wife and I are going CRAZY trying to identify this very popular 80s soft rock tune but we DON'T REMEMBER ANY OF THE LYRICS. Now here's what I got: It's a Quiet Storm-sounding, fake ass soul kinda "Captain of her Heart" kinda thing, very similar in tempo to that song. Think Benny Mardones, Paul Young, etc. The only lyrics I THINK they sing are "till the end of time" which goes into the chorus, which is just a really nice little melody (see below) and then some saxophone. For the REAL nerds, I've figured out the tablature on the guitar, proving that I am truly King of ALL Nerds. Help if you can, this is keeping me awake at night. Thanks.

Nope, that's not it. It's by a way more obscure group / artist but the song itself was way more popular than that.

Bump. C'mon, bros, I wrote out TABLATURE!! I know ILX is a ghost town on the weekend but help me out!
