A possibly rather boring question about MP3 software

Do any of you know of a decent program that cleans hiss, crackle & other such stuff off MP3s? Nero can do this when burning a CD but I'd just like to leave them as MP3s. Preferably free, but I'd pay.

I use Audacity. You can download it free. I am in work and cant put up a link unfortunately, but Google it and you'll find it.

Yep Audacity is my one stop shop for recording stuff of the radio, converting vinyl, playing things backwards etc etc.
