I've had it for a few months and it's awesome.

I've loved the two previous HC records - will I like Awoo? I'm always worried before the third album.

zeus (zeus), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 20:21 (nineteen years ago)

The lyrics seem less perverse but the tunes are still there.

polyphonic (polyphonic), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 20:27 (nineteen years ago)

That's not a necessary bad thing. Sometimes I feel a bit strange when I hear lyrics like "fills my mouth with vaseline", etc.

zeus (zeus), Tuesday, 22 August 2006 20:55 (nineteen years ago)

is the werewolves thing for real? if yes, i cannot imagine it. i should go to harbourfront on saturday to see i suppose!

Kim (Kim), Wednesday, 23 August 2006 04:03 (nineteen years ago)

a friend of mine who liked the first thought the soph lacked tunes, but I found it weirder in a good way.

Got tix for the NYC show next week. Joel in OUT magazine astonished that Bruce LaBruce calls him a "nebbish sex symbol."
