Pebbles 3 is one of my favourite LPs ever, so the Driving Stupid are a-ok with me. i've never heard this cd though. tell more please.

Not as psychedelic on the whole as you might imagine if you know "The Reality of (Air) Fried Borsk." But for me, this is really the band where a "Surfin' Bird" aesthetic was the WHOLE THING. Actually, they lame out a bit toward the end, but the first eight tracks in a row are great so I'd recommend buying it used!

Me too, my brother or sister.

Thirded, absolutely.

my flatmate stumbled in the house the other night after a heavy all-day boozing & druggy session.
"how are you feeling?" i asked.
"like a dribbling fram" she replied.

zappi (joni), Saturday, 26 August 2006 22:41 (nineteen years ago)

They actually made other records besides "...(Air) Fried Borsk"? Shit, I'm in.

Dan Heilman (The Deacon), Sunday, 27 August 2006 00:43 (nineteen years ago)

Well, they made it, but it never came out back then. Sundazed *unearthed* it.

Ad for their 45 reproduced on the inside CD tray insert card says, "It's going to be a definite potato!"

Would you believe I just bought this CD? It just happened to be right in front of my face at the CD shop and I was like "woah, that's weird, guess I should buy it"

Joker! Hysterical! Face! (Bimble...), Sunday, 27 August 2006 06:20 (nineteen years ago)

It kindof reminds me of Billy Childish's band The Milkshakes. It's certainly very odd and psychedelic. The production is great. I like it.

Joker! Hysterical! Face! (Bimble...), Sunday, 27 August 2006 06:21 (nineteen years ago)

Holy shit this band is really from the 60's aren't they? Wow! I thought they were recent just pretending to be from the 60's. I'm in shock.

Joker! Hysterical! Face! (Bimble...), Sunday, 27 August 2006 06:25 (nineteen years ago)

Is this available in the UK, then?

Also:

Yay!

Pebbles Vol. 3 is indeed one the best long players in history and hands down the best Pebbles installment. I explain why and jerk off to each cut here:
