10cc - Classic or Dud?

Impossible to search the archives on this one. With the inevitable resurgence in the popularity of yacht rock, what does everyone think of this fine pop band? The Original Soundtrack is the only album I know but I do enjoy it very much. Anything else good? Earlier / later?

I don't like them as much as I ought to. They feel a bit smug.

Check these threads:

- 10cc - Where should I start?

- 10CC : they really *were* that good weren't they ?

The only album I ever listened to (in a record shop in 1976 or something) was How Dare You!. It was pretty good if I remember well. I never bought it though. Those were the times when pocket money was spend safely...

With G&C mostly classic. Without? Completely dud.

Some of each.

10cc were at their best with Godley & Cream, but did a couple classic albums too. Most notably the underrated "Ten Out Of 10" from 1981.

Classic, of course, and that goes in particular for "Sheet Music" through "How Dare You"
