i looked and couldn't find a thread. thoughts? i haven't listened to them in ages, but i have an eternal softspot for jacket made in canada. and loads of first ave shows. they were pretty ubiquitous there in the earlyish mid 90's. being a minnesota kid i always perceived them as being very intensely local despite being on touch & go. i don't think that's wrong.

Minnesota kid here too. I loved them in my college years, and experienced a great show at St. Olaf's "Lion's Pause" (no giggling!). I have a soft spot for melodic burly rock (it surprised me none when they covered the Volcano Suns).

I can't recall a single original of theirs, but the night they played a whole set of ELO covers in 7th Street Entry was beyond awesome.

i love love love arcwelder...they always had big mosh pit beats and a wierd affection for double-time disco high hats...but yep pull, entropy...actually their album everest from 2000 that no one paid attention to is my favorite..
