go to the beach! at least to walk around. go to chilmark! do you have a car? go to the gay head cliffs! you know, the stuff on marthas vineyard that tourists come to see is really pretty stuff to see! it's a pretty place. go to aboveground records and hang out with mike barnes. he's a ladykiller. i miss mike. he is a rightous dude.

Will check out those things and will have a car, yes. If I find this record store I will tell Mr. Barnes that you sent me. I am psyched having never been but I love beach town culture and am looking forward to a relaxing day/night.

chris, who used to book all those shows on the island, moved to philly. my other old home. i don't know if anyone is doing what he was doing all those years. he did an amazing job.

i can't believe it's a year already since we moved. and its been over a year since i worked at the hospital. so weird.

go check out the new hospital for me, enbb! i worked around that construction site from day one and i never got to see the thing completed.

where is the new hospital? (have no idea how big the island is) I will go and take pictures. Where should I go for dinner?

if you want to spend a lot of money go to the sweet life in oak bluffs. for less money you can go to the brew pub in oak bluffs and get tasty beer and food.

Hey! Just wanted to thank you for the recs. Had lunch in the brew pub and it was delicious. Wound up eating dinner at a seafood joint in Edgartown that was also v v good. The hospital is nice! I fell in love with the little gingerbread cottages and want to live in one!

So Scott are you no longer living on the island? Spending a week there starting Sunday and looking for some recommendations. Used to go annually but haven't been back in about four years. We'll be in Oak Bluffs.

I've been to the brew pub, BTW. Great bucket of mussels and the kids love throwing their peanut shells on the floor.
