Not when the original version sounds horrible. A lot of the original releases on CD sound awful - full of muck, no clarity, no depth. A lot of the reissues finally get the sound right.
Of course, that's no excuse as to why they didn't do it right the first time...

all the suede albums have been reissued with lots of great extras; but I also heard the remasters sound kind of shitty, so i dunno.
