DJ Krush Tour, worth it?

Apparently there's a DJ Krush tour going on. Is it worth the $25 for those of you who have seen him in Philly or will see him in NY today?

I saw him in '04 or '05 and it was fantastic. He had live instrumentalists (piano, saxophone, and Japanese wooden flutes) plus guest rappers (Mr. Lif and Aesop Rock). But that was only for the NYC date, or so I heard. No idea what this tour will bring.

If it's a DJ gig: just say no. Horrendously boring in my experience.

I know what you mean by boring DJ gigs. I once saw DJ Spooky backed by what seemed a full band (he was on the turntables and played an upright bass). The other time was a DJ set that was definitely less exciting but at much cheaper than the regular show.

If you get a chance to see him DJ, and you've not seen him before, then it's definitely worth it. I've seen him play twice on his own and both shows were killer. The guy's got flow, skills, and great taste. He doesn't overdo it, just humbly plays a great set and the crowd just eats it up.
