Did we ever have a thread about Sensitive?

Because in a way it is the song which captures a certain feeling of youth, a feeling of being sad and young and sentimental and energetic best for me of all songs I know. Everything seems to be possible in this song. The bass playing the melody behind the wall of georgeous guitars, if this doesn't have an effect on you, I don't know what will. I don't really listen to the lyrics, there was a discussion on them on ILM somewhere, I can't find it anymore. It's hard to resist, don't you think so? Sorry about my crap intro.

I used to like it but one grows out of band like the Field Mice.

i prefer missing the moon, but sensitive has a charm all its own. sarah records must have thought so too, since it appears on five sarah releases and is track #1 on the retrospective.

btw, anyone heard Picture Center, one of the bands that was formed by members of Field Mice after their break up?! C/D?

I love that song, but with the odd exception I don't really like the Field Mice otherwise. I think I read part of the lyrics assassination thread once, it was a little over the top I think.

picture center never actually had any former field mice in the band did they? or was the field mice drummer the only member?

sensitive seems the ideal field mice song for one of today's super fantastic emo bands to cover.

it's my favorite field mice song...
but, you know, we can't really talk about bands like the field mice around these parts...

the only field mice member ever in picture center was the drummer. picture center lied about having annemari (sp?), i guess. bobby wratten's been asked about the whole thing in a couple of interviews i've read, and he didn't seem to think it was cool or funny or anything. so, picture center is not cool. (and who cares? if you're interested in real post-field mice check out northern picture library, trembling blue stars, the occasional keepers, etc.)

i could really talk about the field mice and this song and everything, but i'm sleepy. and, like i said...

sadly the occasional keepers album isn't much better than the picture center one.

hmm, well, picture center's up to three albums now i think, so which one do you mean? i've listened to the first one too, and actually liked it ok enough. just the thing about lying about annemarie puts me off, that was totally lame and weird. picture center's okay, but there are millions of okay bands, and npl and tbs are both pretty great, so picture center's just a waste of time, really. and, occasional keepers, i don't know. i listened to the album once and thought it was nice. that was a while ago though, and i don't really remember it too well now.

add: i don't care if i'm not being very clear right now. i'm sleepy.
